Cordell High School celebrated the Class of 2024 at a commencement ceremony held at the Cordell School Auditorium on Friday, May 10th. Superintendent Travis Victory extended a warm welcome to the students and guests, followed by Senior Katelyn Melzer leading the flag salutes. The class received inspiring addresses from honor graduates AnnRayia Harrison, Salutatorian; Kaitlyn Babek, Co-Valedictorian; Carlie Banks, Co-Valedictorian; and Scout Regier, Co-Valedictorian.
Superintendent Victory then awarded the 2024 Bungardt scholarships to the following deserving graduates: Kaitlyn Babek, Carlie Banks, AnnRayia Harrison, Tatym King, Katelyn Melzer, Scout Regier, and Brayden Walker.
Diplomas were presented to the graduates by Board of Education President Jeff Jaronek.
Following the time-honored tradition of rose presentations by graduates to select friends and family members, Senior Tatym King led the closing benediction. Superintendent Victory presented the graduates, and the ceremony concluded with the traditional ceremonial recession of the graduates.
